Our Christmas 2014 Session with Connection Photography

I remember being in college when Joseph and Andrea started up Connection Photography. I was sooo jealous of their lives. I watched gorgeous photos fill my newsfeed on Facebook, and wished with all I could that I could be in their shoes. From the start of this crazy journey, I’ve followed them, drooled over their images, and wished for a session of my own. I never really had an excuse to get photos  (which is an excuse in itself) until Chad came along 🙂 We set a date for photos, and I began planning away! First we were going to some place in Winston, and then I discovered this sweet little spot near uptown Charlotte called the Wing Haven Gardens. On that day, I got up, headed to Erin’s place to get my hair done by Lindsay with Mirror Bomb Studio as well as makeup by Erin Ashley Makeup.  They ROCKED it. Gah. After I was looking like the bomb.com, I headed back home to meet my sister and Chad (and Molly) before heading out to the garden. The entire way there, I coached Chad – “Be sure to smile with your teeth!”, “Close your eyes when you kiss me so it doesn’t look creepy!”, “Stay by my side because I can’t walk in heels!” – and he gave me a hard time about it of course 😉 All that coaching though? It didn’t matter. Joseph and Andrea are so real. They had us cracking up the entire time, they had us sharing in wonderful moments, and they had incredible patience with Molly while she danced around all crazy like as you’ll see! It was a fantastic time, and I had tears from laughing so hard and “AWWWWWW”ing so much when we received the images. I’m so in love with these moments they captured, and so thankful to be able to call them friends as well. With that being said, enjoy our session with Connection Photography.
