Courtney’s Bridals at Riveroaks Charleston | Charleston SC Wedding Photographer

Charleston is one of my favorite places to photograph – you truly can NOT go wrong there. Courtney had set up to have her bridals done at Riveroaks, and I was so excited to see what awaited us! One little problem… It was storming ALL. DAY. We decided to just make it work and make it happen, we all were praying, and right as I drove up, the sun started peeking out from behind the dark clouds. We thought we had a small window of time, and rushed to try to get her images done before the sky opened back up, but to our surprise, God gave us a wonderful hour of time with perfect weather, and then closed our hour right as I said we were finished! Good lookin’ out 😉

Now, words can’t begin to describe my love for this venue. And the owner. Marianne is just this sunshine of happiness, a warm soul, and she is full of love and compassion. I had NO idea she had this venue, and I’m fairly certain my jaw hit the ground the moment I turned the corner and saw it for the first time. My heart was exploding, my mind was racing with ideas, and every tiny detail of this place was absolute perfection. It’s completely different from anything we have here in Charlotte, and just has this beautiful European meets Charleston vibe. To add to this, Kelly Lenard created this gorgeous bouquet for Courtney – full of natural tones and beauty, and tied with the finest silk. Without further ado, here’s Courtney’s session!
