If you know anything about me, you know I adore Kate Spade. Everything. So when I was given the opportunity to dream up the most perfect styled session, I had a million ideas. All the vendors listed below came together, and we created something so dear to me, and it could not have been any more incredible. And Molly made a special appearance!

By Caroline Portillo at Carolina Bride: Like us, wardrobe stylist Whitley Adkins Hamlin of The Queen City Style, loves a good bow on a bridal gown. Check out this floral horsehair sash and two-piece gown from J. Majors Bridal Boutique. And when it comes to the details, is there a better pairing than striped braces and a polka-dot bow-tie with a bold, colorful bouquet? The bright hues—courtesy of peonies, orange coxcomb and green hanging amaranthus—add the prettiest pops of personality. Your bridesmaids don’t have to match, but do keep a consistent color palette, like with these dresses from J. Majors. The combination of black, white, and looks lovely in many styles and complements the colorful decor. And while you don’t want your affair to appear too studied, attention to detail matters. See how well this wow-factor sparkler pairs nicely with some glittery Kate Spade peep-toes? Beauty Asylum achieves hair and makeup perfection—simple, classic, with a few pops of pink—and jewelry from Aubre’s Bridal and Kristin Hayes Jewelry complete the look. Now for the magnificent tablescape, designed by Elegant and Classy Events, which features a rainbow of bright florals from Chelish Moore Flowers and dinnerware from Evermore Classic & Vintage Rentals. The black-and-white striped tablecloth is the perfect complement to a playful menu with bold teal letters and a pink bow, created by the amazing Elle Dee Designs. And that cake! Kate Spade herself would fall for the bow, stripes and flawless peony gum paste flowers, created by Sky’s the Limit Bridal Sweets.
