I was born and raised in the Charlotte NC area, and have loved building my family and business here! I am married to a wonderful man named Chad (not like other Chads haha), and we have one brilliantly curious boy named Elliott and the sweetest little firecracker named Merrick. Adding to our everyday chaos is our ridiculously loving bernedoodle named Juno, and our goofball of a rescue doodle named Chewie.
I first got into photography as a child, and despite going to school with the desire for medicine, I've found my way back to this passion. I adore all things Harry Potter, exploring all the stunning cities of the world, but also enjoy relaxing at home with family and friends.
Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the images and the world around them.
I value true connection not only between my team and my clients but also between a groom and his partner, a mom and her newborn. I value the art of allowing moments to unfold naturally (with a little bit of direction here and there, of course). I value details as simple as the way a baby’s curly-cue sweeps her neck or how a brand new wife squeezes her husband’s hand just a little tighter. If I can communicate that feeling while allowing my clients to relax and enjoy their time with me, I consider my job well done.

my PROCESS
After going to school for pre-med with a focus in psychology and sociology, a friend dared me to give photography a shot for a single summer to see how it went. Changing from caring for others on their worst days to their very best days was easily the most rewarding option. I will always have a passion for emergency medicine, but nothing compares to the joy of seeing first looks, the tears from parent dances, and the joy of celebrating every couple.
