Moving Forward

I feel it’s safe to announce that I will only be accepting exclusive sessions this summer and early fall. I am going to be limiting my amount of work since things are about to pick up as I enter my wedding season, and it’s my goal to provide a fantastic experience to all my clients individually rather than cutting down on the quality I offer for the sake of taking on absolutely anything. I truly believe in quality over quantity, as that quality is what will last my clients for a lifetime. To me, that is way more important than my client walking away from a session feeling like part of an assembly line. Personally, I feel that’s not professional. Photography is my life, my love, and my passion. It’s my job to share my life and use my knowledge with others that truly want ME for MY work. In the past, I’ve offered tons of sales to gain a client base, but in doing so, I fear I’ve started getting a name for myself as “that cheap photographer”, which is a blow to my heart. My equipment and the work I offer is by no means “cheap”, and I will not keep going down that path. We’ve seen first hand through Sear’s and Walmart’s portrait studios that “cheap” photographers do not last. It is impossible to cover costs needed to run a business, maintain top-of-the-line gear, and it isn’t possible to also maintain cost of living. It’s now time to begin creating a name for myself that represents the power and love behind what I do – a name that people want.

I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for me and my company, and can’t wait to share in these moments with my wonderful clients that put their trust in my abilities to capture them in my own way. Please contact me at info@caseyhphotos.com if you’d like to set something up!
