When I first started photographing James, I asked if he ever smiled with his teeth. He denied it. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED. For his senior photos, we decided to go around where he grew up. This kid had so many good ideas, and posing was down fo sho. And then he brought his mandolin out. He is known for playing different instruments very well, and even got offered a scholarship based on that alone (woo!!). Anyway, when I saw the mandolin, I knew I needed to go back and get my macro lens out of the car. Loooooove.
