This. Wedding. OH this wedding. Beautiful. Fun. Full of love and laughter.
I arrived at Alex’s mom’s house to capture the little details of the morning while they all got ready. The girls were so excited and ready to get the show on the road! While photographing the details, I noticed some special little touches that had been added in, such as the rosary that had been blessed by the Pope and a pearl necklace her dad gotten her. After Alex was ready, I called her dad in to do a first look with his baby girl while also gifting her with the necklace, and oh my goodness…. Not a dry eye in the whole house!
The time came to head out to the Cathedral of St. Patrick, but as we got closer, rain began pounding down. I know, I know… Total shocker given our monsoon weather. The ceremony started, and right as the big front doors opened to let Alex and her father in, I turned and grabbed Brandon’s first look at his bride. Totally took his breath away, and then he flashed this big smile at her. Both Alex and Brandon were truly ready to call each other husband and wife for the first time 🙂 After everything was official, the big doors opened yet again to let the new Mr. and Mrs. Baila exit… and in poured a flood of incredible light from outside! The rain had stopped, and we all cheered for this moment of perfection! The night began with a bang for sure as the bridal party brought out their best dance moves during the introduction, followed by some of the very best speeches I’ve ever heard at a wedding! We were all rolling with laughter as we got to hear how these two love birds first met (as toddlers!), how they reconnected for the first time, and then it did get a little sentimental as well… but the best man made sure to keep those smiles going all night when he suddenly decided to break out in his own dance moves during a flash duet. In a speedo. Yep. That really happened. As the night went on, we continued celebrating with the wedding shoe game, a different kind of way to get the garter, and break dancing to the cake before everyone headed to the open grass to set off Chinese lanterns into the night sky.
Every moment throughout the day was so perfect for these two and really defined every aspect of their relationship. That being said, I am excited to finally share all of those moments with you all  🙂 Congratulations Alex and Brandon!!
