Brian and Eva | Charlotte NC Wedding Photographer

These two are awesome. Seriously. You can ask anyone that knows them and they’d agree. I remember when I first met with them, they informed me they were building a labyrinth out of wood rounds for the ceremony. That sounds great and unique, but when it came time for Eva to walk down the aisle, it seriously hit me about just HOW incredible this idea was.

A labyrinth is often mistaken for a maze. The difference is that you can get lost in a maze, make wrong turns, and that just isn’t how life is. A labyrinth is meant to symbolize a journey through life – and with God, there are no wrong turns in life. Your path will always lead you to the next part of life, even through the twists and turns, and following this path and trusting in it, you’ll ultimately end up right where you’re meant to be. As Eva entered the labyrinth, she first came to her mother where she hugged and kissed her. Her mother then started to follow her as she continued on to her father, then to her brother, and Brian’s parents, and they all met in the middle where she would ultimately end up right where she’s meant to be – with Brian!
