It started out as just a late night dream… an idea that I knew was kinda crazy. And from there, it became the cover of Pretty Pear Bride‘s Spring 2014 Wedding Magazine – an absolute honor!
I usually only pack a single carry-on when traveling, but when Christina and I headed out for Las Vegas, we were both hauling our two carry-ons AND we each checked a bag (that’s 6 bags total for those that don’t want to add in your head)… and I may or may not have had to switch stuff around because my original check-in bag was most likely 90 pounds. #notexaggerating
Our first part of this series took place at Nelson – a ghost town fairly well-known in the photography world. On our way out there, I was in total awe at the gorgeous scenery, but also had to laugh as our technology began failing. Apparently it’s a weird location where the phone thinks you’re in actually in Arizona and an hour behind in time (which proved to be interesting with our rented time). We also had a movie being filmed there while we were doing our session, but I’d like to say we stole the show 😉
Location: Nelson’s Landing
Hair and Makeup Artist: Bobbie Pin Beauty

The other two parts will be shared over the next few weeks!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
