A part of my heart is in LOVE with the Indian culture, so when Missy contacted me and mentioned this blessing, I was all for it!! They had gotten married already in the UK, but were coming to America for another ceremony they could share with Missy’s family! These two share such a beautiful chemistry full of love and laughter, and it was so easy to capture their emotions. After their ceremony, we headed to Dennis Vineyards for their reception, and my sister arrived about half an hour before I did in order to set up prior to guests arriving. The text I got had me very curious… “You are going to die when you see this!” I had NO idea what that meant, but as soon as I opened the doors, my breath was taken away. Everywhere I looked was travel inspiration and Indian inspiration! Like, I seriously could have just cried from pure happiness at that moment. They set the tables with a theme of a city they’d traveled to as well as a story about it, saris were draped and out for display, and the cake? Holy cow! I was in for yet ANOTHER surprise though when halfway through the reception, I realized Missy and Amar’s mother had disappeared… and then they emerged in full Indian attire – the same that they wore at their wedding! I looked at my sister and just felt my jaw hit the ground! Love love LOVE. Needless to say, we all had a blast! And definitely check out the flowers by Designed Memories as well as that amazing cake by Icing On The Edge!
