From the beginning of my life, the Rudisill family has always been there. I grew up with Kate, and we all attended the same church. I even remember being a small child hanging out in their backyard with Austin, and playing with his GI Joes. So when Austin emailed me about potentially doing his wedding, I basically couldn’t respond quickly enough to say HECK YES.
So now for their sweet story 🙂 Taylor had gone to her friend’s engagement party where the Clay Pigeons were playing, and Austin just so happened to be in the band, and Taylor just so happened to really like musicians… They hit it off, but Taylor lived in Maryland while Austin lived in Raleigh. As hard as long distance relationships can be, they knew it was right, and Taylor decided a year into it that it was time to move closer and take their relationship to the next level! A couple of months later, they decided to take a vacation together into the mountains. On a hike together, Austin had a little plan in mind. When they arrived at the most perfect spot – a sparkling little stream running by with the mountains in the distance, they decided to grab some photos together. After a couple were taken, Taylor turned to find Austin down on one knee… and the rest was history!
Meanwhile, Frank was thoroughly enjoying himself by rolling in the grass….
