We are down to the wire with less than two weeks now until the workshop takes place! So many good things are in store for our attendees, so I figured I’d share a bit more about what to expect and how to grab a seat!
First up is a little meet and greet time before sitting down to go over the benefits of doing styled sessions, how to connect with vendors, how to know what editors are looking for, how to plan and execute a whole styled shoot to begin with, etc.
We will then break for lunch, chat a bit, and then it’s styled shoot time!! We have TWO setups that will be taking place at the gorgeous Separk Mansion that will be open for attendees to capture and use for their own portfolios as well, and we have created a large variety to shoot, such as photographing a real couple vs photographing a model, the differences of photographing plus sized brides, getting the details, and how to stay consistent with both style and shooting during the session.
After we finish up the sessions, we will head back to the conference space to go over picking what images to use, how to write up everything for a submission, and then how to create a submission from scratch. We are being supported by Two Bright Lights, so this is the submission platform that will be used, and we have some goodies from them in store for everyone attending!
