It was a week like every other week, but Sturgeon had a little something up his sleeve. He planned it all around going back to their ‘firsts’ so he could reminisce the best times with Laura. He first surprised her with tickets to a UNC-Wake Forest basketball game (their alma-maters), which was a repeat of the first gift he ever gave her. He then took her out to eat at Cabo Fish Taco, which was the place where they went on their first date over four years ago. Right after they had eaten lunch there, he got down on one knee, poured his heart out, and proposed to Laura, and then took her to the place where he first told her he loved her, secretly having all of their close friends waiting there to celebrate with them!
For their engagement photos, we headed to uptown Charlotte, and it was honestly POURING. RAIN. These guys made it look so good too! They are so photogenic, and I love their crinkled-nose smiles. Sturgeon was full of sweet gestures, and easily made Laura burst into laughter! Despite the rough weather, they celebrated their love, and I adore these sweet moments captured.
