One of my favorite parts about getting to know my brides is doing their bridals. It’s like that little sneak peek of what they will look like for their wedding day, and it’s a time for them to share that special moment with either their mom and/or best friend. They feel and look their very best, and it’s usually the very first time they see everything come together. The hair. The makeup. Bouquet. Dress. Everything.
The day we did Betsy’s bridals could not have been better. We had some gorgeous sun filling the sky and adding a golden hue to everything, and although it had been raining for like fifty years straight (it seemed anyway), this day was perfect. And Betsy trusted me. Anything I asked, she was up for. Seeing how stunning she was, having that bond with her and her mom, and just showing them little previews while hearing cute little screams of excitement and giggles, it all was a beautiful reminder of how much I love what I do, and how special it is.
