From the moment I first saw these two together, I knew we’d be best friends. I had combined two sessions in uptown, and ran from one side up there to another while toting about 50 pounds worth of gear. I was a HOT MESS by the time I caught up to these two, and what did they do? They sat me down with them at the bar in Rock Bottom, ordered some beers and hot pretzels, and we talked! Love. It was love.
I always enjoy hearing proposal stories, and this one is pretty darn good. Tim decided to take Candice out to Blue, this cute restaurant in uptown Charlotte, but told the staff ahead of time he was planning on proposing. He set it up so that one of Candice’s best friends would actually deliver the dessert to the table and surprise her! He got down on one knee, professed his undying love for her, and asked her to marry him. Of course she said yes, but what she didn’t realize is that alllll the people that were in the restaurant were actually their best friends and family! They had been waiting around to surprise her and congratulate them on their engagement 🙂 So sweet!
I am beyond excited to shoot their wedding this early winter in the gorgeous rolling hillside of Hickory, so be on the lookout!
