Ashlee and Brandon | Charlotte NC Wedding Photographer

I loved this wedding so so so much! Ashlee and I grew up together, and in her first email to me, she asked me to be her wedding photographer not only from my work, but because it’d mean a lot just to have someone she grew up with there too. My heart melted. From their engagement session to their wedding day, it was obvious these two are meant for each other. Brandon was just so calm yet excited about everything, and Ashlee could not wait to see him for the first time. All the details of their day were beautiful and classy, but I have to say, adding the pitchers of infused water for the guests at the ceremony was AMAZING. I swear I drank half the lemon and mint ones myself. When Ashlee’s dad walked her down the aisle, he stopped and kissed her hand, which was by far one of the sweetest moments of the day! One thing I LOVED that they did was a dove release. I haven’t had a chance to photograph one before, so I was extremely excited about it! But also worried as most others were… Why? Oh, it’s just dove hunting season. In Stanly County. Need I say more? We all started laughing as soon as the doves were released and prayed we didn’t hear any booms! After the ceremony ended, I stole Brandon and Ashlee away for their own private moment to be together and get some lovely photos. These two have the best chemistry, and I could not stop ooing and awing over these!! To finish their big day, they rocked out a fantastic reception that had everyone up on the dance floor.
