Adventures of Molly, Personal

We have a house!

filed in

Annnnnd we officially have a house! It was a wild ride, but Tanesha, our realtor, made it so easy, and she’s definitely the one to thank for finding this place. We’d gone to view four homes, but each one wasn’t “it”. We THOUGHT one was perfect, but was informed it was taken while we were applying. We tried for another one we were content with, and same thing happened. SOOOO while applying for our third choice, Chad did a quick search of properties by the same company, and discovered one that had gone up just then. We immediately called to ask for information since all these homes were being snatched up so quickly. We didn’t even wait until we got word, we just loaded the pups in the car and headed to the address. Turns out, a family had literally just moved out two hours prior to us arriving. We got to see the fenced in yard, and loved the neighborhood! The very next day, we got approved, and got to go check the place out. And it was PERFECT. I’m in love with the space, and the layout is so great for us.

We have gotten everything switched over, and we officially move in ONE WEEK. And that is terrifying. We don’t have that much to pack up, but it’s still overwhelming since Chad works 5 out of the next 7 days, and I have five sessions and a wedding. For those that need our new address, feel free to reach out! And if we happen to get any gift cards to Crate and Barrel, Anthropologie, or Target, we won’t be mad about it 😉

So, here are some photos from our recent visit to the house. Molly and Chewie both got groomed yesterday, and Chewie is not taking it as well as we’d hoped lol… He ended up getting a lot of matted fur cut out, and has a fresh start, but it’s so different to the full amount of fur he had that he’s a little bit in shock. Nevertheless, he LOVED running around the yard, exploring the rooms, and sprawling out on the floor. Molly, on the other hand, has never felt better apparently. She has been running around all day being super playful and talkative. We even brought her little Sven to the house for her to play with (and the blanket my sister got ME that Molly keeps trying to claim as her own). While these two goofs played and explored, Chad and I popped open some champagne to celebrate this new beginning. I can’t wait to share these new adventures with you all!
